To prepare a flight reservation we need real passenger details, so this page says plainly what we collect, why we need it, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted.
1. Who is responsible
TemporaryTicket is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@temporaryticket.com.
2. What we collect
- Passenger details — surname, given name and passenger type (adult, child or infant) for each traveller on the booking. These have to match the passport, because they are printed on the document.
- Itinerary — origin, destination, travel dates, trip type and the number of passengers.
- Contact — the email address we deliver the document to.
- Order and payment records — your booking reference, amount, any promotion code used, and payment status. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Technical data — standard web server logs, and analytics collected through Google Tag Manager (see cookies below).
We do not ask for passport numbers, dates of birth or nationality, and you should not send them to us.
3. Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To perform the contract — preparing your reservation, emailing it to you, and dealing with support and refunds. Without passenger names and an email address we cannot supply the service at all.
- Legal obligation — keeping payment and tax records for as long as the applicable law requires.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure, preventing fraudulent orders, and understanding aggregate site usage.
- Consent — where you opt in to our mailing list. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link.
4. Who else sees it
Only the parties needed to deliver the order: our payment provider, which processes your card payment and holds its own record of the transaction; our email provider, which delivers the document; our hosting provider; and the airline reservation systems used to hold the booking, which receive the passenger names and itinerary. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
These providers may be located outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, it is transferred under the safeguards those providers have in place.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site sets the cookies it needs to work — keeping your booking session together between the itinerary, passenger and payment steps, and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be turned off without breaking checkout.
We also load Google Tag Manager, which may set analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block these with your browser settings or an extension; checkout will still work.
6. How long we keep it
Booking and passenger records are kept while your order is active and afterwards only as long as we need them to answer support questions and meet accounting obligations, then deleted. Incomplete bookings that are never paid for are removed. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to a particular use, or ask for it in a portable format. Email support@temporaryticket.com with your booking reference and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting data mid-order. If you ask us to erase passenger details before the document has been delivered, we cannot complete the order. We will cancel it and refund you instead.
8. Children
The site is not intended for children to use. A child or infant can be a passenger on a booking, but the order must be placed by an adult who is entitled to provide that child's details.
9. Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it.
10. Contact
Available Every day, 09:00-21:00 UTC · typical reply time: 30 minutes.
